Administrative Coordinator of Counseling and Disability Services

Johnson College is currently seeking an Administrative Coordinator of Counseling and Disability Services. The Administrative Coordinator will assist with student appointments, providing outreach support to students, planning and implementing wellness programming and events for students, and organizing student files.

Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. At least 2 to 3 years experience in higher education, counseling, disability services, human services, and/or any other related fields.

Carpentry and Cabinetmaking Technology Instructor

Johnson College is looking for Adjunct Instructors and Lab Assistants for the fall 2019 semester. All teaching positions require at a minimum, an Associate’s Degree and 4-5 years technical experience. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required for most positions.

Human Anatomy and Physiology Instructor

Johnson College is actively seeking a part-time Human Anatomy and Physiology instructor. The adjunct instructor will need evening teaching availability. The individual will be responsible for developing and improving curricula, instructing assigned courses consistent with syllabi, evaluating student learning, and fostering student success. Additionally, the individual will have to be competent using online systems.

The minimum qualifications required for the position include a Master’s degree in Biology or a closely related field with experience in Human Anatomy and Physiology. Teaching experience in the content area is preferred.

Mathematics Adjunct Instructors

Johnson College is currently seeking Mathematics adjunct instructors to teach morning/daytime/evening classes for the fall 2019 semester. Qualified applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field. Teaching experience is preferred.

Physics Instructor

Johnson College is actively seeking a part-time Physics instructor. The adjunct instructor will need daytime teaching availability as the lectures are scheduled in the early afternoon based on student program scheduling. The individual will be responsible for preparing course materials, instructing assigned courses consistent with syllabi, evaluating student learning while providing support and guidance, reporting grades, and fostering student success. Additionally, the individual will have to be competent using online systems.

The minimum qualifications required for the position include a Master’s degree in physics, engineering or a closely related field. Teaching experience in the content area is preferred.

Welding Instructors

Johnson College is currently seeking part time Welding Instructors for our program. The candidates must be knowledgeable in Oxy Acetylene, MIG, TIG, and Stick processes on plate and pipe. Prior teaching experience, CWE/CWI credentials, and a good working knowledge are preferred. The ideal candidate should have the ability to speak confidently in front of a small crowd, a passion for recruiting into the skilled trades, and flexible work schedule hours to include day/evening classes.

Advanced Manufacturing Instructors

Johnson College is currently seeking part time Advanced Manufacturing Technology Instructors for our program. The candidates must have experience working with manual mills and lathes including working with various cutting tools, end mills, boring equipment, and rotary index equipment. Qualified candidates must know how to manually write CNC programs and knowledge of G & M codes and use CNC mills and lathes. Candidates must have Master CAM experience. The ideal candidate should have the ability to speak confidently in front of a small crowd and a flexible work schedule hours to include day/evening classes.
