Johnson College is currently seeking a Staff Accountant that will function as a part of the accounting team within the Finance Department of the College. This position will assist with month end close procedures, account analysis and journal entry preparation. The position will be responsible for the preparation of key general ledger account reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, bank reconciliations and provide backup coverage for the other areas of the department.
Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a regionally accredited college or university. Preferably a minimum of 2-3 years related work experience in the accounting field.
Program director of Physical Therapist Assistant Program
Johnson College is currently seeking a Program Director for their CAPTE Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. The potential candidate should be a physical therapist who demonstrates an understanding of education and contemporary clinical practice appropriate for leadership in physical therapist assistant education. Qualified applicants must possess a Masters` degree from a regionally accredited college or university, Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred. A minimum of 5 years’ experience, post licensure experience that includes a minimum of 3 years clinical experience. Preferably didactic and/or clinical teaching experience. Experience in educational theory and methodology, instructional design, student evaluation and outcome assessment, including the equivalent of nine credits of coursework in educational foundations.
