Financial Aid Advisor
Johnson College is currently seeking a Financial Aid Advisor. The Financial Aid Advisor is a member of the Financial Aid Department who performs day-to-day activities of a professional financial aid administrator. This position is responsible first for the counseling of students, both current and potential, of any available and eligible aid funding, the financial aid process and the application procedures. The Financial Aid Advisor will conduct student need analysis, perform federal verifications and packaging of student aid, certify federal loan eligibility, provide financial aid counseling, make professional judgement decisions regarding student aid eligibility and facilitate problem solving with students and parents. This position requires current knowledge of federal, state and institutional funding sources, their criteria and their limits. There is also a certain degree of clerical work and file maintenance that must be done on a daily basis. The FA Advisor is responsible for the orderly manner and required documentation in each student file.
A Bachelor’s degree is required in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field. Experience with federal loans and PowerFAIDS preferred.
Johnson College is currently seeking a full time Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning instructor. The position responsibilities would include instructing students with principles and applications. Academic instruction will include classroom lecture and hands-on activity. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required for most positions.
An Associate’s degree is required, with at least 5 years’ experience in HVAC/R.
Johnson College is currently seeking a Recruitment Advisor. This position will be responsible for recruiting qualified applicants for admission to the college in accordance with state and federal accreditation and Institute policies and regulations, consistent with the highest ethical standards. The recruitment advisor must conduct a high quantity of prospect phone contacts to secure weekly standard appointments and interview activity, and conduct follow-up activity. There will be extensive state wide and out of state travel.
Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Preferably 3 or more years’ of experience in Enrollment/Admissions or sales is preferred. A valid PA driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
Director of Institutional Effectiveness
Johnson College is currently seeking a Director of Institutional Effectiveness. This position will provide leadership with the College’s strategic planning processes, while promoting a climate of student success in support of the College’s data-driven graduation, retention and enrollment initiatives. The director of Institutional Effectiveness fosters meaningful assessment within the context of the institutional mission and goals creating thorough use of quantitative and qualitative measures supporting continuous improvement for the College. Johnson College is in the candidacy phase of Middle States Accreditation and will be starting its Self-Study in November 2018.
A Masters’ degree is required, with 5-10 years’ experience in a higher education environment preferably in Institutional Research or Institutional Effectiveness. Previous MSCHE self-study experience preferred.
Senior Maintenance Mechanic
Johnson College is currently seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic. This position will work with the Facility Director to identify the various mechanical repairs needed across campus that can be repaired within the department’s abilities.
An Associate’s degree is required in planning, engineering/building construction or related field. Experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance preferably in an educational setting.
