Auto Emissions Testing

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has developed a web-based training program for technicians to become certified in the Pennsylvania Vehicle Emissions Inspection and Maintenance (I/M) Program. Johnson College is approved by PennDOT to proctor the emissions test.

You must schedule an appointment in order to take the test.

Cost

A testing fee must be paid at the time of the testing. It is payable by cash or check.

Applicants are required to show a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.

Programs and activities offered as part of Johnson College’s Continuing Education Department are not included in the scope of recognition of the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), the College’s accrediting agency.
