RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY SPECIAL PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
After program acceptance and prior to the start of the first semester, students must provide proof of:
- Eight (8) hours of observation in a Radiology department
- Hepatitis B vaccination series
- Current healthcare coverage
- Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training (through either an American Heart Association Healthcare provider or an American Red Cross Professional Rescuer)
- Annual two-step PPD testing (TB test)
Additionally, students must provide:
- Health Clearance Form
- Annual Criminal Background Check*
- Signed Statement of Understanding for the Radiologic Technology Student Handbook.
*if you have been convicted of a misdemeanor or felony, the ARRT strongly suggests that the you submit a precertification review to the ARRT once you have been accepted into the program to make sure that you will be allowed to sit for the boards upon graduation from the program.
