PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT
The Program Mission supports the Johnson College Mission Statement by providing the community with a degree program that is focused on a technical and knowledge- based curriculum and by offering students services that support academic success and life-long learning opportunities. The program seeks to cultivate professional competence in graduates who will be actively responsible in society as Radiologic Technologists. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible for the National Registry Examinations for certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist or R.T.(R)
The Radiologic Technology Program curriculum incorporates didactic and clinical learning experiences designed to foster knowledge, clinical reasoning skills, and psychomotor abilities necessary to be a competent entry-level clinician.
Through involvement in the program and clinical activities, the students are provided with opportunities for leadership roles, lifelong learning, and professional development.
