HOW TO APPLY

To apply for most types of aid, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid FAFSA. You may fill out either an electronic or paper application-the electronic web version is processed much quicker and is easy to complete. You should submit your FAFSA using only one of these two methods.

To apply for aid online you must apply for a Federal Pin. You will use the Federal PIN to sign the FAFSA. If you are a dependent student you will also need your parents to apply for a PIN. Once you apply for a Federal PIN, it will never change unless you decide to change it. If you do not have a valid PIN you may print out the signature page and follow the directions for mailing the signatures to the US Department of Education.
