Adjunct Instructors

Johnson College is looking for Adjunct Instructors for the Fall 2015 semester. Most of the openings are for Night classes (after 4pm), a select few are for Days.  All teaching positions require at least a Bachelor’s Degree (or Master’s Degree for some positions) in the related field and 4-5 years of technical experience in the field of instruction. Teaching experience is preferred.

Adjunct Instructors are needed in the following areas:


Lab Assistants

Lab Assistants support the Adjunct Instructors in the lab. Oversee students in lab/shop areas and assist in helping students reach their goals for all lab/shop area tasks. Requirement of 2 years’ experience in a related field is required.

Men’s Basketball Head Coach

Johnson College is seeking a part-time Men’s Basketball Head Coach who, under the direction of the Athletics Coordinator, is responsible for administering the men’s basketball program, including the recruiting, scheduling, coaching, scouting, and all other aspects of program administration. Critically important is the academic accountability of its men’s basketball student-athletes. Applicants must have knowledge and an understanding of coaching, as well as recruiting and program administration experience as required. In addition, knowledge of NJCAA rules and regulations and a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the game of basketball is also required.


Economics Adjunct Instructor

Johnson College is looking for an Economics adjunct instructor to teach ECO 111 – Introduction to Microeconomics, a three-credit undergraduate course that will take place during the day, in the Fall 2015 semester.  Qualified applicants must possess an MBA degree.  Teaching experience is preferred.


Professional Tutors

Part-time professional tutors needed in the subject areas of Math, Statistics, Chemistry, and Physics. Teaching experience in these subjects is a plus. Degree in the program of study is required.

Tutor training will be provided.
