Administrative Assistant for College Advancement
The position provides overall administrative support to the Department of College Advancement. The person will perform administrative support duties including, but not limited to: filing, project and event support, research, flyer creation, and all other administrative duties as required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with preference for coursework in Educational Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or English is required.
Two years related experience.
The Librarian is responsible for oversight of the College Library. This will include developing and managing the library budget, updating and maintaining the library’s collection of books, periodicals, and electronic holdings. She/he is expected to interact and reach out to students and faculty in providing educational materials and resources in support of each of the programs of study on campus. He/she will work with department chairs to encourage and develop an information literacy strategy for their programs of study and develop strategies for instilling information literacy within all students across campus.
Master’s degree in Library Science (MLS) from an accredited American Library Association institution preferred. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four year college or university.
Two years related experience.
Part-time professional tutors needed for Radiologic Technology students. Experience in all phases of Radiologic Technology is required. Certification as a Radiologic Technician is a plus.
Part-time professional tutors needed for Veterinary Technology students. Experience in all phases of Veterinary Technology is required. Certification as a Veterinary Technician is a plus.
Part-time professional tutors needed in the subject areas of Math, Business, and English. Teaching experience in these subjects is a plus.
Tutor training will be provided.
Lab Assistants will work closely with the instructor. Oversee students in lab/shop areas and assist in helping students reach their goals for all lab/ Shop area tasks. 2 years experience in related field required.

Part Time Library Assistant
The Library Assistant assists with library operations including assisting patrons in the use of the library and performing duties assigned by the librarian. This position provides general information about library services and facilities, manages the maintenance of the periodical collection, assists with inventory and helps patrons in the use of public access catalog, library computer systems, and multimedia equipment.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to use library database software. An Associate Degree and 1-3 years related experience required.
Adjunct Psychology Instructor
Johnson College is seeking a Psychology instructor to teach an Introductory Psychology course starting in the fall of 2014. This course will meet on Friday mornings from 8:00 am to 11:40 am for the first 12 weeks of the semester which begins on August 25. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in a related field.
Prepare instructional materials and develop lesson plans following the approved course outline; assess student learning and progress and report student performances on the College faculty portal.
Must be proficient In SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, & GMAW on plate and pipe and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience. A welding test will be required. Prior experience instructing is a plus. This will be a weekend position.
This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of the College which includes housekeeping, grounds, set-ups and maintenance of the campus.
Must have Valid Pa driver license; be able to lift up to 80lbs, work off ladders at heights, be able to follow written directions and have a High school Diploma or equivalent.
