FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

Workforce & Economic Development Network of PA (WEDnetPA)
Through the PA Guaranteed Frec Training Program, qualified in-state businesses and out-of-state companies relocating to Pennsylvania can access funding for a wide range of training (categorized as either Basic Skills Training or Information Technology Training). wednetpa.com.

Customized Job Training (CJT)
Eligible applicants can access funds to assist with higher level or advanced training that is not covered under the Guaranteed Free Training Program (GFT). CJT funds may be used to pay up to 50% of cligibic training costs.

WorkForce Investment Act of 1998 (Title 1, Subtitle B)
A federal program that provides job training to eligible individuals for public and private sector employers.

On-the-Job-Training (OJT)
OJT helps defray the extraordinary cost of training new employces. Program eligible employees include, but are not limited to, those who are economically disadvantaged and dislocated workers. Companies can be reimbursed up to 50% of wages paid to cligible trainees during the training period.

Incumbent Worker Training
Funding may be available for training Incumbent Workers under Industry Partnership Grants. This funding is to support the grond of a company.

Programs and activities offered as part of Johnson College's Continuing Education Department are not included in the scope of recognition of the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), the College's accrediting agency.
