Johnson College to Host Blood Drive

Johnson College will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The drive will take place in the College’s Moffat Building Gym. Those interested in donating blood can call 1-800-GiveLife to sign up for an appointment.

Johnson College to Host Charitable Halloween Events

Johnson College’s Student Government Association is hosting two special events on Friday, October 29, 2010 that are open to the public.

The first event is an American Red Cross Blood Drive which will run from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The drive will take place in the College’s Moffat Building Gym. Those interested in donating blood can call 1-800-GiveLife to sign up for an appointment.

Student Government has also planned a Halloween Carnival from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Moffat Building. Proceeds will benefit the Lackawanna County United Way. The cost is $2.00 for children and $4.00 for adults. The admission ticket includes one beverage and one hot dog or slice of pizza. Activities will consist of a costume contest, pumpkin decorating contest, face painting, bean bag toss, pumpkin bowling, coloring, and more.

Johnson College To Host Blood Drive

Johnson College will host an American Red Cross of Lackawanna County Blood Drive on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The College is located at 3427 North Main Avenue in Scranton, which is off exit 190 on I-81 North. The drive will take place in the Moffat Building Gym. Please follow event signs once you are on campus.

Donors will receive a free VIP voucher for the Vans Warped Tour 2010. In addition, all donors with previously purchased concert tickets will be eligible for free upgrades. The Vans Warped Tour will take place on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Toyota Pavilion in Scranton.
