Johnson College’s Class of 2010

Johnson College celebrated its 91st Commencement on Sunday, May 9, 2010. 134 graduates received either an Associate in Science degree (A.S.) or an Associate in Applied Science degree (A.A.S.).

Commencement exercises took place at the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple in Scranton. Community leader Gary Drapek, President and CEO of the United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties, delivered the commencement address. Degrees were presented by Dr. Ann L. Pipinski, Johnson College President & CEO, and Donald Kalina, Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

Elysia M. Curry of Montrose, a graduate of the Radiologic Technology program, earned the Johnson College Award for Academic Excellence among the Associate in Science programs. Daniel Brian Taylor of Lake Ariel, a graduate of the Biomedical Equipment Technology program, earned the Johnson College Award for Academic Excellence among the Associate in Applied Science programs. These two awards recognize the student with the highest grade point average in each Associate Degree area.

    Congrats to the class of 2010. I speak to students all the time about finishing strong and I can that Johnson’s class has done just that. Keep up the good work and keep graduating students.

    Well, well, well. I take it congratulations are appropriate and in order towards Johnson College and all its graduates as they celebrated their 91st Commencement on Sunday, May 9, 2010. Not an easey task obtaining an Associate in Science degree (A.S.) or an Associate in Applied Science degree (A.A.S.) The future is yours, Grads of 2010!
