MACK Representatives Visit Diesel Truck Technology Students

MACK Trucks representatives recently visited Johnson College to give a presentation to the Diesel Truck Technology students. Robert Seyerlein, Vice President of Triple Cities Mack in Scranton, Jim Wiser, Service Manager of Triple Cities Mack in Scranton, and Scott Barraclough, Powertrain Sales Manager of Mack Trucks, Inc. in Allentown, were present to meet with students.

The representatives provided information about MACK as well as insight into the Diesel Truck Technology field. “This is a great industry,” Mr. Seyerlein stated. When speaking about the job market, emphasis was placed on the importance of hands-on education and keeping up-to-date with technology changes in the field.

    Diesel Truck technology is a great field to get into since not many people even know about it. the work would be tough sometimes, but well worth it. Hard to say how many of these jobs will be available in the future, but as long as there are shipping companies, there will be a need for this skill.
