Johnson College’s 17th Annual Open was the most successful golf tournament to date, raising over $26,000 for the Presidential Scholarship. The tournament was held on a beautiful, sunny day at the Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club on May 15, 2009. Thirty-one teams, comprised of over one hundred and fifteen golfers, participated in the event. Tournament winners were Team Shea Demolition: Joe Shea, Johnson College Class of 1985, Owner of Shea Demolition and Hole-in-One Sponsor, and John Hayduk, Andy Olexavitch, and John Connell.
The tournament sponsors gathered after the event to present students with the Presidential Scholarship which they were awarded. Johnson College would like to thank all who participated in the event.
