Students Awarded for Scholastic Achievement

Friday, May 8th Johnson College hosted an award ceremony for members of the 2009 graduating class who received high honors, competed in athletics, performed service to the college, and showed dedication to their field.
Devon Fawcett, Associate Director of Admissions to Johnson College, was the Master of Ceremonies. Dr. Ann L. Pipinski, President & CEO, Dominick Carachilo, Vice President of Academic Affairs, and Don Kalina, Chairman of the Board of Directors, presented awards to the students along with David J. Coassolo, Director of Athletics & Student Services, Christine M. Buckery, Coordinator of On-Campus Housing & Bookstore, Linda A. Learn, Assistant Director of Student Support Services, and Jenna L. Strzelecki, Career Development Specialist for the various student achievements.

The event was held on campus and featured awards for students ranging from academic honors to athletic recognition.

    The Electrical Authorities conduct a decent job of making sure that electrical contractors nowadays get the knowledge and hands-on training they need before they get themselves licensed. So I must agree with these types of programs.

    Johnson College is a wonderful school. This school has such high expectations and knows how to get the job done.

    Because of Johnson College, I learned what it took to get a degree in Computer Information Systems and now own my own business. My professors taught me skills that I use on a daily basis. Because of what I learned at Johnson College, I know that I will go far!

  17. I know how hard it can be to get all the way through and these people deserve a reward. But what they will get the most of is a crash course in finding a job that pays them what they are worth.

  18. I wish I had some of those skills these students have been taught. I would be able to put that knowledge to good use.
