Part 4
The Center for Sustainability at Johnson College recently began the first phase of its Fall Lecture Series. It includes three free information sessions presented by the “Queen of Green” – Lisa Alexander. Details on these lectures can be obtained here: Center for Sustainability Announces Lecture Series.
The Center is now pleased to announce the second phase of the Fall Lecture Series. Homeowners and building professionals are invited to attend the Capstone Seminar, a special, day-long event. The event includes multiple presentations that will provide in-depth looks at important themes of sustainability.
In addition to the presentations, two live demonstrations will take place. Participants will learn firsthand about the operation of solar panels and blower doors.
Participants are not required to attend any of the information sessions in order to take part in this capstone event.

Fall Lecture Series: Capstone Seminar
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Presentations will center on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and natural gas.
Live demonstrations of solar panels and blower doors.
Cost: $20 per person; $15 for Johnson College Alumni
This capstone event will take place in Johnson College’s Moffat Building. The College’s campus is located at 3427 North Main Avenue in Scranton, which is off exit 190 on I-81.
