As a member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania community you know that giving matters. Giving of your time, money, or both is an investment. Through your investment you are letting the world know what you care about. During the 2007-2008 academic year so many of you invested in Johnson College and I am truly grateful for your support. Thanks to you we have seen new investment from private foundations and government grants, new scholarships, considerable investment in our campus infrastructure, and major acquisition of new technical instructional equipment.

We have an exciting year ahead of us! Our campus master plan is now completed, providing an exciting vision of opportunities for growth as well as the challenge of funding the growth. Establishment of our strategic initiatives of enhanced academic excellence, financial strength, increased enrollment, and community involvement were guided by our mission and vision statements. The projects included in the master plan are the embodiment of what we need in order to fulfill our mission and vision and achieve our goals.

It is the perfect time to get involved with the College and show your support whether it be through volunteering, playing in our Annual Golf Tournament or making a gift. For those of you that are already involved, thank you so much. I value the trust you place in us to meet the needs of a select group of students and to provide business and industry in the area with technically-educated employees.
